Haiku in a Time of Pandemic












          FIVE
Air, warm and heavy 
for April, wafts through the house, 
Leaving bedclothes damp. 


           SIX
Fog—heavy, damp—fills 
depressions; obscures trees, roads, 
Condenses inside. 


           SEVEN
By night, furnace roars; 
By day, AC. That’s April 
in Wisconsin.
